Valley of Flowers is one of the major tourist attraction of Uttarakhand and is well connected by roads.In order to reach valley of Flowers, tourists first have to reach Govindghat which is last place with motorable road access before Valley of Flowers. Valley of Flowers By Road / Train and Air

Road: NH-58 connects Govindghat with New Delhi and other parts of the country. This road further leads towards Badrinath shrine. Tourists traveling towards Valley of Flowers via road travel via Rishikesh – Devprayag – Srinagar – Rudraprayag – Gauchar – Karnaprayag– Chamoli – Joshimath – Govindghat. NH 58 also connected with Kumaon region at Karnaprayag.

Rail: Nearest Railway Station to Valley of Flowers is at Haridwar, some 284 kms away. Route for tourists travelling from other railway stations are as follows:

  • Kathgodam Railway Station: Bhowali – Khairna– Ranikhet – Dwarhat – Chakhutia –  Gairsain – Simli –  Karnaprayag –  Chamoli – Joshimath – Govindghat
